Maybe it’s the last couple of sunny, 70+ degree weather, but the future is looking pretty bright right now. So, I thought that bright shiny-ness should be reflected in my post in response to this week’s photo challenge: future.
I’ve been working on sunbursts in my photography (when the sun cooperates. I was out shooting puffy, cotton candy-esque Kwanzan cherry trees yesterday and the sun was in just the right spot. Glorious!! I hope you agree!

Welcome to Tales from the Upper Left! I’m an Oregonian by birth, and a Washingtonian (upper left...get it?) by choice. I share my life with a husband named Jonathan and a cat named Colby Jack (he’s orange...like cheese). I dabble in photography (passionate hobbyist), hike when the opportunity arises, drink wine whenever the mood strikes me and travel not often enough. Predictable Washington blog? Nah. I promise!
