I have to admit, I was going to skip this week’s challenge. A face in the crowd? That’s a tall order for someone who doesn’t regularly photograph people. This morning it occurred to me (insert lightbulb going off here) that a face in the crowd is all about isolation. Ohhhhh! Isolation, baby! I do that almost every time I pick up my beloved macro lens. Which, on a side note, is currently at a Canon repair center because I think I burned out the auto focus motor. I feel like I’ve lost a piece of me. I love that little lens. I can’t wait for it to come home to me.
Wait. Where was I? Besides wiping away tears? Isolation! Face in a crowd!
Here is my interpretation:
I took this little beauty last week while at Sunnylands garden in the Palm Springs area. I love how the one flower pops while all of the surrounding blooms (may I suggest faces?) fade into the background.
A lovely shot!

Nice interpretation of the theme, Lanae! I’m keeping track of these WPC for when I get back to blogging in late April; I might try to combine some 😊
