One of the greatest surprises that I’ve experienced since acquiring the macro lens is viewing the photos and noticing small details that I overlooked while snapping the shot.
The most often missed detail? Bugs. Teeny, tiny, itty, bitty bugs. Take this flower for instance. Pretty, huh? And that’s what grabbed my attention. The beauty and color of a vibrant pink flower that’s no longer than the top bone in my pinky finger.
I downloaded the photo and…surprise!…a cute little beetle. At first I was like, “Hey, that beetle is cluttering up my pretty pink flower!” But, the more I looked at it the more I liked it. He just adds a little…something. Who would have thought that a beetle could be an unexpected (and welcome) surprise?
I love that too! Thank you for the teeny beetle.
