Weekly Photo Challenge: Solitude

Solitude is something that has always come easily for me.  For the most part, I’ve never minded being alone.  The husband?  Also an introvert.  What a pair we make.  It’s a hermits life for us!  Our mutual love for solitude (is it solitude if we’re quietly together?) lends itself to a whole portfolio of photos of quiet beaches, quiet forests, quiet mountain trails.

One of the sweetest spots we experienced solitude on over the last year was, without a doubt, St. John.  We went in the down season and, I swear, there were so very many times that it felt that we were the only ones on that island.  Beautiful.  Peaceful.  Solitude.

    1. And I am the QUEEN of multitasking. Maybe that’s why I feel so compelled to get outside…I have only nature and the camera to focus on instead of “the list of a dozen things.”
