Welcome back to TTBBOC (The Twelve Boozy Beverages Of Christmas)!  Are you ready for our second cocktail?  How’s this sound?  Vanilla vodka, Irish cream, coffee ice cubes. You read right.  Rub your eyes.  Read it again.  Same words.

The evening before making this after-dinner delight I made a small pot of strong coffee, allowed it to cool, poured it into ice cube trays and slid it into the freezer.  Some versions of this sipper up the ante by adding half-and-half.  Tempting, but I thought the creaminess of the Irish cream was sufficient.  I was wrong.  We added some milk, but it wasn’t the same.  Recommendation:  add half-and-half.

Santa Sipper

Coffee ice cubes
1 oz vanilla vodka
1 1/2 oz Irish cream
1 oz half-and-half

Combine.  Taste.  Adjust flavors to taste.
