The concept behind this week’s challenge is a fun one.  Remember Calvin and Hobbes? The boy and his tiger?  Calvin’s transmogrifier was an upside down cardboard box.  When he stepped inside he was transformed into anything he chose…animal, vegetable, mineral. This week we are to show you something that has been transformed.

How about the maple leaf war zone?  The once-beautiful maple trees in our back yard have transformed themselves into mere shells of what they were a few weeks ago after violently shaking themselves (almost)bald.  The result?  See for yourselves:
