Weekly Photo Challenge: Narrow

“From spaghetti to the quiet alley behind your house, this week show us something narrow.”

We have a huge lavender plant next to our front walkway.  Sometimes I think it’s working on world domination.  Or, at the very least, trying to oust the azalea that it “shares” the space with.
So, sure, when I think “narrow” I think of the very things mentioned in the challenge:  alleyways, half open doors, paths.  But, shallow depth of field also comes to mind.  A wide open aperture that can result in sliver of clarity while the remainder of the photo is a beautiful blur.
That’s exactly the approach that I took with that lovely lavender bush.  The result?  A narrow but beautiful view.
