“‘Tis the season to revel in photographic (or photogenic) disasters,” is how we were introduced to this week’s photo challenge: Oops. We were invited to “share a fiasco” represented by what’s in the picture (something broken) or “otherwise cringe-worthy” or the photo itself could be a flub (the old “finger in the frame”). I undoubtedly could have culled through the archives, but I was overwhelmed by a desire to chuck an egg on the kitchen floor. I mean, who does that? Deliberately? You should try it….it’s satisfying. I stood on a chair to ensure maximum splat.
Held out the egg.
Let go.
Crack!
Ooooooze.
Oops!

I think a good substitute for “Oops” would be “Splat!” 🙂

I once put a carton of eggs on the front seat of the van because I only had a short way to go to get home. Of course, something happened that caused me to have to hit my brakes hard and the carton ended on the floor. Fortunately, it didn’t open and most of the eggs were intact. But…oops!
