Okay, maybe not so elusive for some, but elusive for me.  I can now say that I have chased the magpie about the countryside and finally had some success at getting some decent photos.  Earlier this year in Kennewick?  Magpies.  This was the best photo from that trip.  Saw magpies in Taos, too.  And didn’t get one single decent photo.  Though I got a lot of other stunners, which you can check out here and here.

I will not tell you how many photos of those stupid birds I took while in Sun Valley.  Or how many afternoons/evenings/mornings I wandered around the grounds of the condo, camera hanging ’round my neck, stalking them.  Is there much more to say than that?  I bring you the magpie compilation.
