We are fresh back from the husband’s family reunion on the Washington coast. Ocean Park, to be exact. I’m sure I’ll tell you more about it later. Anyways, I saw The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Beneath Your Feet,” pop up this morning when the husband and I were finishing up breakfast. From there we headed to the boardwalk in Long Beach for a little walk. So, on this summer day I had a boardwalk and dune grass beneath my feet. Not too shabby, huh?

Welcome to Tales from the Upper Left! I’m an Oregonian by birth, and a Washingtonian (upper left...get it?) by choice. I share my life with a husband named Jonathan and a cat named Colby Jack (he’s orange...like cheese). I dabble in photography (passionate hobbyist), hike when the opportunity arises, drink wine whenever the mood strikes me and travel not often enough. Predictable Washington blog? Nah. I promise!
