This week’s photo challenge is “Close Up”. I’m actually going to use some pictures I used in a post about a month ago because, well, I like them.
I am a butterfly chaser. A butterfly stalker. A butterfly lover. I can be in mid-conversation and a butterfly can fly by and I’m like, “Ooooohhhhh….butterfly.” The problem with butterflies is that they’re, well, fluttery. Meaning: they don’t stay in one place for very long. Therefore I seem to have very few pictures of butterflies. However, they were cooperative on the 4th of July on the shores of Annette Lake.
Every person who loves taking photographs and occasionally tries to get a photo of something that flies can certainly appreciate these shots. 🙂

I can NEVER get a picture of a butterfly. Never. For the very reason you say: too fluttery. These are wonderful–especially the second one. I mean, gorgeous!

Thanks! Did you see my dragonfly picture from today? GIDDY!! Talk about fluttery! But, it was so warm out I think he was just looking for a break.
