As I noted previously, Dad & Mom are in town this weekend. We woke up to clear skies on Saturday morning (big shocker. I’ve seen Mt. Rainier on a more consistent basis these last couple of months than I’ve seen her the entire time I’ve lived here). We decided to take a walk in the morning while it was still cool (the forecast said low 90’s and they weren’t kidding) and headed out to Woodard Bay, which I’ve previously talked about. Last time Dad & Mom were at Woodard Bay the husband and I were barely newlyweds. It’s now 7 years later. And we still like each other, which is always a good thing.
I actually (for once) don’t have a lot more to say about our walk. It was nice. The weather was warm. The views beautiful. The company good. We were pretty much the only ones out there at 9:30 in the morning. We acted like we didn’t see the little sign that had no dogs allowed and took Dad & Mom’s Cocker Spaniel (Patches) with us. She was on a leash. It was fine.
Here’s some pictures:
It looks beautiful. It’s so important to make time to walk with loved ones. Do you manage it regularly?

With my husband, yes, with the rest of the family, no. They don’t live in the area but were visiting this weekend.
