Today I drove home from Kennewick. I saw the Weekly Photo Challenge, “Forces of Nature,” pop up before I left. I had visions of stopping somewhere on White Pass to take pictures but, frankly, I just wanted to get home. So, I started thinking about hikes that we’ve taken and things we’ve seen along the way…and remembered Goblins Gate.
Goblins Gate can be found on the Elwha River in Geyser Valley, which is west of Port Angeles. We camped in the area last June and spent a beautiful day hiking in Geyser Valley. If you want to learn more about the area check out the WTA (Washington Trails Association) website here.
Force of nature? Without a doubt.

Love the color of the waters! Looks like a place I would love to visit!

Definitely worth a visit! I feel that I could have gotten better photos, but I have a healthy respect for rocky cliffs over rushing water. 🙂
